NEW JERSEY ORGANIZATIONS

The Pride Center of New Jersey: The Pride Center was founded in 1994. For two and a half decades, we have served the needs of the LGBTQ community, empowering thousands of individuals to live authentic lives.

Jersey Gay Pride: Jersey Gay Pride's mission is to promote equality, respect, and awareness of important causes, such as bullying, food and shelter, job readiness, and local and national resources to the LGBTQ+ community of Southern and Eastern New Jersey and the surrounding areas.

Kaleidoscope: Kaleidoscope is a community-based LGBTQIA+ program that offers monthly meetings and ongoing virtual platforms in a welcoming atmosphere where teens and young adults like you can find support, guidance, and a sense of community. Kaleidoscope provides a safe, supportive environment for LGBTQIA+ and allied teens and young adults to gather, socialize, organize, and help each other.

Groups are held in-person and virtually each month for both teens and young adults. Monthly group meetings for teens and for young adults are held in-person and virtually at various locations throughout New Jersey including in Camden, Essex, Mercer, Morris, and Sussex Counties.

Safe Harbor Healing Minds | Essex County LGBT RAIN Foundation: Safe Harbor Healing Minds (SHHM) provides FREE comprehensive mental health support for LGBTQ+ individuals, ages 18 to 30, to enhance their well-being. Services include individual and group therapy sessions led by certified therapists specializing in LGBTQ-related issues and trauma therapy. SHHM offers peer mentorship programs, peer support specialists, and specialized support groups within the LGBTQ+ community.
